Corre fino a 80 km l’ora questo nuovo tipo di veicolo a due ruote, l'eRockit, la cui pedalata è assistita elettricamente. Piu’ che a una bicicletta col motore assomiglia a una vera e propria moto che pesa 110 Kg e ha un motore elettrico capace di 12 Cv di potenza.
Il costo rimane proibitivo, ben 30.000 €uri, ne verranno prodotti solo alcuni prototipi nel 2009.

ONE obstacle thing for electric bike is distance limitation because of batteries capacity. Another limitation is its speed. But Berlin’s Stefan Gulas can answer those two questions. He made eROCKit that can move very fast than ordinary electric bike and can go everywhere without any limitation.
The key is two motors for his bike. First motor is generator that can produce electricity to be stored at the battery. Second motor that can produce 12 horsepower using to rotate rear wheel. So the rider is pedaling direct to the generator not to rear wheel as usual. The top speed can be reach at 80 km/h. But the price still high at €30.000
